3. Application Process

  • One-Time Registration (OTR) is Mandatory before applying.
  • Candidates can apply online at: https://uppsc.up.nic.in
  • Steps to Apply:
    1. Complete One-Time Registration (OTR) at https://otr.pariksha.nic.in (at least 72 hours before application submission).
    2. Authenticate with OTR Number and fill out the application form.
    3. Submit details and complete fee payment.
    4. Final submission of application and take a printout for records.

5. Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit (as of 01/07/2025)

  • Minimum Age21 years
  • Maximum Age40 years (born between 02/07/1985 and 01/07/2004)
  • For PWD Candidates: Maximum Age Limit = 55 years
  • Age Relaxation:
    • SC / ST / OBC of UP: 5 years
    • PWD: 15 years
    • Ex-Servicemen: 3 years + Service period in Army

Educational Qualification

  • Minimum RequirementBachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
  • For Specific Posts, additional qualifications may be required:
    • Food Safety Officer: Degree in Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Biochemistry, etc.
    • Labour Enforcement Officer: PG in Sociology / Economics.
    • Law Officer: LLB Degree.
    • District Probation Officer: Postgraduate in Sociology/Social Work.

8. Reservation Policy

  • For UP Candidates Only:
    • SC, ST, OBC, EWS, Freedom Fighters’ Dependents, Ex-Servicemen, Physically Handicapped, Women.
  • No Reservation for other state candidates (treated as General Category).
